Egg Day


The American Egg Board - This site contains nutrition information, facts, recipes, and crafts relating to eggs.

Rose Acre Farms - This site also contains lots of information on eggs.

The Eggman - Contains some fun facts on eggs and detailed descriptions on how chickens lay eggs.

Animals Born Alive and Well by Ruth Heller.
A factual book written in rhyme covering the topic of animals born alive (not hatching from eggs).  This is included on this list due to its use in the science lesson.

Chickens Aren't the Only Ones by Ruth Heller.
A factual book written in rhyme covering the topic of egg-laying animals.

Egg by Robert Burton.
This book is filled with wonderful photographs of 27 different animals hatching from eggs.
