Objective:
The students will fly kites.

Materials

• Kites made in the Art Lesson

• Wide open space outside

Procedure

1. Go outside and fly the kites the students made in the Art Lesson.  If the wind is not cooperating, have the students run to make their kites fly behind them.

Other Lesson Ideas

1. Play different tempos of music and have the students pretend they are kites flying in a gentle breeze or in a heavy wind storm.
